Baduanjin Qigong

Go deeper into the practice.

Baduanjin — the Eight Pieces of Brocade — is one of the best-known classical Qigong systems.

Its eight movements may appear simple, but beneath them is a rich understanding of posture, structure, breathing, internal connection, and the movement of energy through the body.

My approach is not simply to show you the eight movements.

It is to help you understand what is happening inside the movements — so that you can experience Baduanjin as a practice rather than simply imitate its external form.

A Deeper Practice

Baduanjin can help you explore:

  • how the body connects and moves as one
  • how strength can develop without unnecessary tension
  • how opening, closing, stretching and releasing work together
  • how breath and movement naturally coordinate
  • how seemingly simple movements can become a deeper internal practice

You do not need previous Qigong experience.

But if you have already practiced Qigong, Baduanjin can also give you another way to deepen your understanding of the principles behind the movements.

Baduanjin Training Is in Development

I am currently developing a structured Baduanjin training program.

There is nothing to purchase yet.

If you are interested, simply leave your name and email below.

I’ll let you know when the program is ready, and you’ll be among the first to receive an invitation when enrolment opens.
